Coaches Information
The application period for Head Coaching Positions in the WYFL is now closed for the 2011 season.
At this time applications are open for all assistant coordinators and coaches.

Head / Assistants Coaches:
WYFL teams will consist of One Head Coach and Two Coordinators. In addition each Head Coach will select three assistant coaches.
All A- Team Coordinators must be selected and provided to the coaches committee at the Head Coaches Brakefast.
All B-Team Coaches must submit thier coordinators for approval at the head coaches brakefast. B-Team coaches will be notified of all approved Coordinators. B-team coaches are not to contact any parents or players prior to tryouts.

Back Ground Checks:
This year we are providing the option to submit your Back ground checks via the WYFL website this year.
Once your application has been submitted to Coaches@westlakethunder.com
you will be emailed an access code to use and login in information.
The WYFL will pay for the background checks submitted through this service.
Paper back ground check through BCI are still being accepted if you choose. The cost for a back ground check from BCI will not be covered by the WYFL.
Background checks are required every year and are required to be completed and verification of completion submitted with your application.

Coaches must follow the UCFC rules on Camp / Conditioning. This is an event for all players of that grade to participate in. The coordination / communication of this will be done by the A-Team coach for said grade. Coaches are to provide date and location to the WYFL for proper notification on the WYFL website. In the event that you do not attend this event you will be immediately removed from your coaching position for the season.
